Investing in your child’s future

I believe the greatest gift we can give our children is an understanding of themselves and the support to become whom they are meant to me.

Psychological testing is an investment in your child’s future. In order to provide the highest quality services, I have opted to not take insurance. I fully support people wanting to use their insurance and will provide a superbill upon request.

The total cost of testing is determined by the amount of time it takes. Most batteries can be completed in 10-15 hours including the initial parent interview, test administration, scoring, interpreting, report writing, and the feedback session. For every hour I spend with you and your child, it typically takes me another 1-1.5 hours to score, interpret, and write it up.

In the initial parent interview, I will recommend a specific battery that answers your questions and meets the needs of your child. Some parents are looking for more brief batteries. Some families want the most comprehensive testing possible. I am able to do both. Below I have provided fees for the various services:

  • During the initial parent interview (CPT 90791): I will review your child’s present symptoms, as well as a history of medical, academic, social, and developmental issues. We will agree on a battery of tests to answer your questions. We will schedule testing sessions for your child as well as set up a time for feedback. To make the best use of this time, I highly suggest completing the intake form (assigned in the client portal) in a thorough manner. This will provide a structure for interview and allow me to focus on the most important areas.

  • Psychological testing (CPT 96130) is billed at $270 per hour. This includes test administration, scoring, interpreting, and report writing. Different tests take different amounts of time. Some of the most common tests are described below. For example:
